Financially Empowering Young Adults (FEYA)

With the rising costs of necessities, it is extremely difficult for young working adults to manage their budget, and many basic items are starting to become a luxury. Understanding that the cost of rent, hydro, wi-fi, and all other bills add up very quickly, it seems that individuals that are working to make ends meet, cannot seem to get ahead. Young adults are now having to choose between paying their rent, and buying food for the month because their earnings cannot always be stretched to pay both.

FEYA (Financially Empowering Young Adults) is a brand new program for working individual’s ages 18-29 years old. FEYA is designed to begin assisting young working adults with their groceries and gas by purchasing and distributing gift cards. This program is intended to offset the cost of these items, in hopes to allow individuals to get ahead and begin to feel financially empowered. Our goal is to assist young adults, take away some of the stress and mental toll, and help them build for a self-sustainable future.
