Campaign Chair 2024

Headshot of Barry Cooper, 2024 Campaign Chair

Barry Cooper

Barry was born and raised on a mixed farm just south of Brandon. He attended Brandon schools and participated in sports and cultural events throughout his youth. A graduate of the University of Saskatchewan (Bachelor of Science Agriculture), Barry has extensive experience in most facets of agriculture. He works with Heritage Co-op as the Business-to-Business Operations Manager where his responsibilities include Ag and Commercial Petroleum, 3 Ag Sites and an Aerial Applicator business. He is also heavily involved in sales and marketing for Heritage.

He has been actively involved with the Brandon Chamber of Commerce, serving the membership in multiple roles including as President. He presently sits as a Board Member on the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce and on the Executive of the Keystone Centre Board of Directors.

Barry is passionate about our community and actively searches for ways to better support its economic, cultural, and social growth.

Barry has been married to Debbie for 32 years with two adult sons living in Brandon.

My role as the Business to Business Operations Manager allows me the privilege of working with a dynamic group of achievers providing Ag Inputs, Aerial Application and Farm/Commercial Petroleum. This Team is motivated and prepared to accomplish our purpose. I always looking forward to solving challenges before they impact us and removing roadblocks that slow us down.

My passion is serving our membership and helping them achieve their goals. I value the relationships we form with our Guests while working together to make them more profitable.

I am a life long learner, curious and continue to seek out opportunities to gain knowledge.

I love our company's commitment to be a "community builder" and actively look for ways to support this mission.
